About
Wholehearted

Why Wholehearted?

The term Wholehearted comes from Brené Brown, a researcher, professor, and storyteller who’s spent the past two decades studying courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy. In her research, Brené identified a group of people who fully embraced vulnerability and believed what made them vulnerable made them beautiful. She named them the Wholehearted.

Wholehearted living is about engaging with our lives from a place of worthiness. It means cultivating the courage, compassion and connection to wake up in the morning and think, 'No matter what gets done and how much is left undone, I am enough.’ It means identifying with and living in line with our values.

Why A Blooming Heart?

The Wholehearted logo is a lotus flower blooming inside of a heart. Like the lotus flower, our hearts are not always in full bloom, they expand and contract, opening and closing with the seasons of our lives.
